The cottage is generally quite comfortable but stairs steep and windy for elderly people. Would suit 4 not 6 people as only 2 armchairs and 1 sofa in sitting room plus one very small bathroom upstairs and no downstairs loo. Generally rather claustrophobic - dark furniture and some windows obscured by vegetation. No suitable sitting out area; it is very small, overgrown and grubby and very public. Following your feedback we now have a five seater corner set and the single armchair.
In addition, a dishwasher has been installed and new curtains throughout.
Regrettably, I can’t do anything about the vegetation at the back as that land does not belong to me, but having listened to your feedback, the front area has been completely cleared and gravelled with a new sitting area at the front of the Cottage.
You are correct in saying this is a small cottage, but hopefully these upgrades will help maintain its character.
