It was our second time staying at the property.

It’s in an ideal location, and the garden was great for the dog. It’s starting to look a bit tired though, and the pans are awful. We still enjoyed our stay.

The situation of the property is ideal for what we wanted, some fixtures are becoming tired and the front door needs looking at.

We enjoyed our stay this was our second time at Arcadie, I liked the open front parking, last time it was awkward with cars parked opposite the gate. Once again enjoyed watching the birds from the conservatory, and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Arcadie is in a fabulous spot for both the town centre and the harbour.

The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. However I feel it would benefit from having some money spent on it as the floors are very spongy and wobbly in the entrance hall. I had to buy a frying pan as the one provided was really dirty and had spots of rust.

Overall we had a lovely stay the position of ARCADIE is brilliant for town and shops and exploring the surrounding are, the enclosed garden for the dog is great the cottage itself is lovely and comfy the conservatory is nice to sit in of an evening, The TV is not connected to internet so basic catch up will not work so not really a smart tv the rugs are a trip hazard and a mat for the bath is essential just a couple of minor tweaks but overall I would recommend as everything else is good

Arcadie was a wonderful place to stay, very homely, clean and comfortable.

The property is only a few minutes walk to shops and a short walk to harbour, and buses. There are numerous places to visit like Alnwick Castle, Cragside and Bamburgh Castle, which are all interesting places. I would love to stay again at Arcadie if me and my husband come back up to Amble next year.

pleased to see there is now off street parking. Very handy for everything that Amble has to offer. If your stay includes Sunday the market is a must.It is a proper traditional market with so much choice and plenty of bargains.I would not hesitate to recommend Arcadie not only for families but also children.

Well equipped and cosy and in a great spot. However only 2 bath towels provided despite paying for 2 bedrooms. Kitchen light not working over table. Bathroom light not working over sink. Despite being a Smart TV, it does not connect to the internet - a Samsung wireless LAN adaptor is needed. I have advised the owner.

This is a comfortable cottage in a good location.

Just behind the Main Street and a very short walk to the harbour and sheltered beach. Having off road parking is a definite plus point.

Fantastic little cottage by the marina.

Steps away from shops, bars and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Great enclosed garden for the dog and the off street parking was a godsend. Lots of walks nearby. Happily would book again. Don’t want to leave to glowing a review or I might not be able to book again lol.

This is a lovely bungalow in a perfect location just off the Main Street in Amble.

It has a nice conservatory with open aspects towards the marina and a lovely flat garden. The house was spotless and really well equipped with a nice welcome pack. It is ideal in every way and a credit to the owners. We will be back if we can find a free week in the future

We had an issue with the boiler which was rectified very quickly. We'll definitely be back!

The location of Arcadie was fantastic, right in the heart of Amble with easy access to some great walks and days out in Northumberland.

we stayed 4 days, the weather was not kind to us so we probably spent more time in the house because of this.

It's very comfortable, well equipped and very clean. Plenty places to eat, and a couple of small supermarkets, within easy walking distance. Enclosed garden was ideal for the dog. We would definitely come back.

the only bad comment is that we had to keep moving the mats back into place as they kept moving and caused a trip hazard if not put back everything else a home from home our second stay at this cottage well sited for the village

Arcadie is ideally placed in a quiet street, offering lovely views across the Braid and Marina.

It's got a conservatory with furniture perfect for eating and relaxing, whilst enjoying the bird activities. The parking is also a blessing. The whole place is spotless and a credit to the lady taking care of it. This has been our 2nd visit and we have booked again for next year

Arcadie is a comfortable, clean home from home bungalow in a fantastic location in beautiful Amble, with a super garden for the dog.

We would return in a heartbeat, in fact we didn't want to leave,

Spacious , comfortable and well equipped with large garden and open view towards boatyard, perfect for us and the dog.

Eating breakfast in the conservatory watching the birds in the garden was delightful, as was relaxing there with a book after a day walking the beautiful Northumberland coastline! Appreciated the lovely treats in the welcome and the nice touches of the colourful flowers in garden and lovely pictures on the wall. A great place to stay

Fully enclosed garden with views over marina. Clean, warm and comfortable. Parking greatly improved by opening up access to drive. Would have preferred dishwasher instead of washing machine but not a big problem as ate out. Will definitely stay again.

This was a lovely cottage right by the harbour.

It had everything we needed and more to make the stay enjoyable. The milk, bread and treats left for our arrival was appreciated. We loved all the old photos of Amble, the cottage felt really connected to the town. Thank you for a great break, we will return.

Our 3rd stay at Arcadie and we had a lovely week.

A huge difference was the open driveway. Just drive up and park. Other changes made the bungalow more inviting. The new furniture and heater in the conservatory and a slightly stripped back version on the decor in general. Amble is a great place to stay,nice shops and harbour huts,cafes and restaurants etc. Amazing beaches on the doorstep and further along the coast in both directions. Arcadie is so worth considering as your holiday home. Comfortable,cosy and a little gem of a place. Thanks to Emma for all you do to make the bungalow so nice to visit.

Perfect location in Amble with all amenities on the doorstep, very comfortable and cosy bungalow with everything you need and lots of places nearby to visit.

A beautiful cottage with everything you could need, the two double bedrooms were ideal for us as two singles with a dog.

The location is perfect with everything Amble has to offer right on the doorstep but still relaxed and quiet. We very quickly became regulars at the excellent cock n bull micro-pub, where the banter with the locals is hilarious and found a fab cocktail bar just a short stroll from the property. The owner dealt with the one issue we had during our stay immediately after making contact with them....thankyou

Arcadie is a lovely, comfortable cottage, with a nice conservatory, where you can enjoy watching the birds or activity on the Braid and marina.

We also ate meals out there using a small table. The whole place was spotless. We appreciated the books, suggesting walks and the many others about the local area. Everything is on the doorstep for shopping, eating out and tripping out. We have booked to come back next year.

Perfect location.

Amble is a lovely place to visit and walk round. The cottage is as expected. Spacious and all amenities as you would want. Lovely welcome pack. However, as the photos show, the carpets and general maintence of the property is a bit tired. I feel this is fully reflected in the price and is shown by being a three star property but with a little more investment it could be great. All was surface clean, but just felt dusty and damp. Totally understand that’s the owners decision, just don’t want new customers to have too high an expectation.

Our 2nd visit to Arcadie and we enjoyed it.

We stayed more local this time and spent more time exploring the sand dunes and beaches around the Amble area. We also shopped for provisions more at Amble,as Arcadie is close to the high street. Saying that,you wouldn't think it was.No noise, mainly local people going by on their way to the shops. Perfect for us and our small dog.Nice location and secure garden for the dog.We'd love to visit Arcadie again. A big thank you to Emma housekeeper as well.

This is a charming property.

It is ideally positioned for access to all Amble has to offer. The property is very comfortable and extremely well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and as we visit the area regularly, we will certainly return. Thanks particularly to Emma for her very considerate call.

The outside of the property was a little scruffy, possibly due to recent bad weather.

The inside was warm and welcoming, milk in the fridge and goodies in the bread bin were much appreciated. The cottage is in a very quiet location, and very convenient for shops and the harbour. The cottage was recommended to us by friends, and we will happily pass on the details to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at Arcadie in Amble.

Close to the main street,but not noisy with traffic or people. Ideal for the harbour village and further along to the dunes and beaches. The walk to Warkworth Castle is beautiful,with all the sea birds along the river estuary. The garden at Arcadie was great for our dog,we checked the fences and it was completely secure,for him to explore. Comfortable,clean and surprisingly private both front and back,looking at the location of the property. We liked it so much we rebooked for next spring.

Comfortable,well equipped property and loved the decor and furnishings.

However the lack of care by whoever is looking after this property needs addressing i.e.faulty cooker knob, vanity light in bedroom not working,, no extra loo rolls, bin bags or kitchen towel. It's a lovely property otherwise

A real home from home, in a nice setting with many places that allows dogs in.

The weather was nice so did some local walking ending up at “Angie’s” or “The cock and bull”. Would highly recommended this cottage

In an excellent location.

Central but quiet. Kitchen well equipped. Good shower over the bath. Beds comfy, settees not so much. Bungalow looks in need of some t.l.c. Please note not everyone appreciates air fresheners in virtually every room. We had torrential rain one day and the windowsills in the conservatory were covered in water and the gutters overflowed. No welcoming pack, not even a bottle of milk in the fridge. No toilet cleaner in the bathrooms. No hand wash anywhere. Parking on the driveway caused difficulties with cars parking on the street outside. We decided not to park on the driveway because there was parking available elsewhere. Would we stay there again? Maybe, because of the location.

the cottage was absolutely lovely very clean and comfortable fabulous location right on top of everything will definitely be back in the future

Another comfortable stay at Arcadie and we hope to return sometime next year.

I left a list of suggestions on the table when we left.

We did find parking an issue getting in and out of the property when vehicles are parked opposite. Information about the bins would be useful. Being elderly we did have a problem getting off the settees.

We had a good week here.

A spacious bungalow with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds and seating. Secure garden for our dog. Just one thing to note: if you have a bigger car the parking can be a bit tight although we did manage with our Landover it did take a little manoeuvring when cars were parked opposite. Not a big problem. We would definitely return if in the area and do not hesitate to recommend.

Lovely welcome tray with a variety of items. The rooms were spacious and clean and it was really nice to have a separate wc as well as the main bathroom.

Our third time at Arcadie, and yet again, felt at home as soon as we had unpacked.

Fresh and clean, well equipped kitchen ideal for a self catering holiday - in fact, we did not eat out once, preferring to cook our own food to eat in the garden while watching the comings and goings along the Braid and Marina. The bungalow is central yet quietly tucked away behind the main street, so close to the shops and harbour village. We are already planning to book our 4th stay!

This is a very homely little bungalow, ideally situated in the middle of Amble so that it is close to all the facilities.

Two minutes from the shops and five minutes from the Harbour Village and the Pier. There was everything we needed in the bungalow and the beds and the sofas were comfy! The bathroom is well appointed and the shower is just the right strength! The garden is lovely and we were able to sit out, enjoy the sunshine and read our books!
