Situated in the Akeld Manor House grounds in the village of Akeld, Northumberland lies Foxglove Covet, a charming single-storey cottage.

Boasting off-road parking and views of the Cheviot Hills, this property is ideal for a small family to explore this scenic area.

Stepping into the property, kick off your shoes in the hallway before getting acquainted in the sitting room, where you can look forward to snuggling up in front of the TV with your loved ones after a long day of discovering your surroundings.

From here, the kitchen/diner provides the necessities for your self-catering requirements, inviting you to prepare some scrumptious meals, before sitting down to catch up on the day's events at the dining table.

In the evening, retire to one of two bedrooms; the first room hosts a plush double and the second is a twin, with both rooms boasting plenty of storage for your belongings and wonderful views out over the Cheviot Hills for you to wake up to.

Wooler is a delightful, historic market town on the banks of the River Till, one of the tributaries of the Tweed, nestling in the foothills of the Cheviots which form part of the Pennine Way. Known locally as 'The Gateway to The Cheviots', Wooler has a selection of hotels and eating places and offers a magnificent location for exploring the whole of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Situated on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, Wooler is just a short drive away from the historic town of Alnwick with its famous Castle and Gardens, and the well preserved Garrison town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Chillingham Castle with its ancient herd of wild white cattle and Coldstream, just over the Scottish border, are also a short drive away.
