“The coach house is on the face of it is a nice quirky large property suitable for large or small groups with plenty of room, while it is rustic being an old property our experience was not a good one, we were left four days without any hot water, the owner was contacted numerous times but did nothing, other than to suggest running the water for a very long time.”
This ruined the holiday and experience, when I personally contacted the owner via text there wasn't even an apology so I feel I have no option but to leave a negative review and sadly would not recommend, this holiday was booked for me via a friend to be a low stress experience for me, it was sadly anything but that.

This isn’t quite true, is it? There was ample hot water for all the showers. Unfortunately a sticking timer meant there was no hot water for a bath for two days. This was quickly remedied.
You weren’t the person who booked the holiday. In fact I’ve no idea who you are. If you check with your friend who did book, you will find they texted me twice…not “numerous” times. They were extremely dramatic and rude, turning what was really a minor inconvenience into a catastrophe. They were offered the chance to leave but instead wanted to continue complaining for a, by then, non-existent problem. No mention of the wine, chocolate, flowers, eggs and fruit left for you, the comfortable warm house with its great location.
Let’s hope you never have to experience a real drama…..I can’t imagine how you’d cope.
Oh and thanks for leaving both ovens covered in thick grease. That to me, is a real catastrophe. I have no idea how I will cope!
