Thank you for your feedback and firstly we are really glad to see that you had a good holiday. We are in absolute agreement with you on the shower and are looking at how we remodel the bathrooms. Fairhaven is popular and often heavily booked so getting a time slot to get a remodel done on the bathrooms is challenging and something that we are planning for next year. In the last two weeks we have experienced this particular issue with the shower and the property has been closed to complete this essential maintenance – we’re very sorry you experienced this problem while you were visiting and very glad NCCC was able to assist you. Thank you for the hand soap suggestion - we have now arranged for that to be provided in both bathrooms and the kitchen. During the summer we had amended the instructions for the bins but clearly this isn’t working so I have asked NCCC to revisit this and ensure it is clearer. The NCCC team have also since added the heating instructions to the information pack. Glass disposal is something we are reliant on the council for however we are also investigating how to provide more convenience for guests.
