    “A well equipped property .”

    Nicely furnished A big bathroom , it’s a shame a larger shower wasn’t in there. The shower in the property is rather small. Two problems we had . The outer front door inside handle came off in our hands ( it didn’t appear to be the first time this had happened. This needs attention.). The door into the kitchen , the handle on this is very hard to open as it’s too near to the wall, you can’t grip it properly. Everyone with us nipped their hands on it . A different type of handle ...

We agree that the bathrooms are due an update and we have renovations booked for the bathrooms for early 2025. We have tried to be as transparent as we can as to their current set up by way of photos and descriptions. The front door handle has now been fixed - many thanks for informing us. Alnwick 4 miles.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
