“The house was lovely, quiet & scenic, however some of the facilities needed a bit of an overhaul due to over use, pans marked, rusty baking trays, missing kitchen items, the dining area is not great if more than 2 people want to sit at the table as is in the kitchen which is smaller than portrayed in the listing.”
Also for some obscure reason the larger better "Smart" TV with all mod cons was located in one of the bedrooms which was not really useful.........and rather wasted really! More rugs would be good for quieter dog movements, but these may have been lifted due to Covid. Bedside rugs would also be nice rather than cold wooden floors.
We had an issue with one neighbour who just seemed set on trying to upset everyone over nothing. We were unsure of where we could and could not go with the dog as nothing is signed, we were nervous about inadvertently trespassing onto private property to walk the dog, but all gates opened and nothing said No Entry, it just looked "owned" by someone, so signage would be good.
We don't think we would go back here purely because of the neighbour who was rude, intrusive & clearly had an axe to grind, although we have no idea why.
All that said, if your looking for large, spacious, quiet with goods views then this house is ideal, the Manager & her partner are lovely, the house in the main was nipping clean, warm and bar the odd spider & woodlice, and of course the nasty neighbour, we had an undisturbed week.
