Open up the pretty green door and be welcomed into the cloakroom with plenty of room for your coats and shoes, then enter into a light and airy open-plan living space, home to a gorgeous cream kitchen hosting all the necessary appliances, and an inviting seating area from which to enjoy many peaceful evenings in front of the woodburning stove. Admire the beautiful blue hues and striking exposed beams that decorate this stylish room, as you join at the dining table just a few steps away, and indulge in a delicious bottle of wine whilst mapping out all of your upcoming adventures. The picturesque Northumberland village of Belford lies in the heart of Heritage countryside, midway between the popular walled towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The pretty coastal village of Bamburgh, with its sweeping beaches and dramatic castle, is only a short drive away. Belford itself is an old coaching village with a pleasant square and offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. It is ideally placed for exploring the Northumbrian Coastal Route, Cheviots, the renowned Northumberland Coastline and the Scottish Borders. The opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from nearby Seahouses, is not to be missed. Alternatively check the tide times and cross to Holy Island to visit the historic Lindisfarne Priory.
