    “Lovely cottage 3 bed all with en=suite plus toilet downstairs was great Owner just lives a few doors away and contactable on the phone Lovely touch of welcome pack with homemade cake, bread, milk etc.”

Our outstanding coastline is within a mile’s drive away. ACCOMMODATION GROUND FLOOR Entrance Hall. Kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, WC and wash hand basin. Dining room with table, chairs, gas wood burner style fire. Lounge with comfy leather sofas, gas wood burner style fire and TV. Door to rear of property. FIRST FLOOR Stairs up to Bedroom 1 with single bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and en suite shower room with shower, WC and wash hand basin. Steps up to Bedroom 2 with King size bed, TV, fitted wardrobes, en suite bathroom with shower over bath, WC and wash hand basin. Alnwick 5 miles; Alnmouth 3 miles; Amble 1 mile.

Lying in the loop of the River Coquet on the Heritage Coast, Warkworth is a picturesque village, dominated by the dramatic ruins of its 12th century castle. The history of the village and the castle are intertwined with the Percy Family who took over the castle in 1332. The Percys’ other home is nearby Alnwick Castle, most recently associated with Harry Potter as the film location of Hogwarts School. The main street is lined with Georgian and early Victorian houses and there is an exceptional range of galleries, antiques shops, a village shop/Post Office, pubs, restaurants and gift shops to suit all tastes. Warkworth has its own stretch of sandy beach and a 9 hole pay and play golf course. Also within easy touring distance are Hadrian’s Wall, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, the Farne Islands, several wonderful beaches and Alnwick Garden with its remarkable water cascade and Tree House Restaurant.
