“Our stay at Ireby House was perfect in every way.”
We highly recommend this place. The house is light, airy and spacious. There is nothing to fault or improve on. In fact, the images don't do the place justice. We were very comfortable and warm during a cold and wet February break. Our labrador also loved the enclosed back garden, even in the rain! There are fabulous country views from the rear, yet the location is brilliant for quick and easy access to many places of interest, including the coast. The house is exceptionally well equipped; the owners have thought of everything. The soft, luxurious and very large towels, were most welcome: this may seem trivial, but in our experience, some 4/5* places offer thin towels well past their date! Rustling up a meal, and then relaxing was a breeze at Ireby House. The owner, Sarah, goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a great experience, and this was much appreciated.
Should we return to the area, we'll definitely return to Ireby House.
